Embark on a journey through time at the Wyoming Frontier Prison. Escape to a place where history comes alive with our immersive guided tours, and delve into the intriguing tales and captivating history of the former Wyoming State Penitentiary.
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, we offer eight tours daily, seven days a week. Tours run every hour on the half-hour from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
We are open Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, and Labor Day! Tour schedule varies after Labor Day - mid-October.
September 3rd - September 14th tour schedule, seven days a week, 9:30, 10:30, 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, & 4:30
September 15th - September 28th tour schedule, seven days a week, 9:30, 11:30, 1:30, & 4:30
Closed on weekends beginning September 29th
September 30th -October 4th and October 7th -10th tour schedule, Monday-Thursday, 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM
Museums & Gift Shop are open 9:00 AM-4:00 PM (Closed 12:00-1:00 pm), Monday-Thursday.
Tours are suspended October 14th until November 12th. Halloween events will be held on October 19th, 25th, 26th, and 31st.

Children (ages 6-12): $10
Seniors (ages 60+): $10
Museum exhibits are free and can be explored at your own pace. You must be on a guided tour in order to see the Prison.
Well behaved leashed dogs are welcome!
